Eurong Beach resort is situated on the ocean side of the island. This resort caters more to the budget and middle range in the market. The resort caters through fully self contained units through hotel style suites and most are located close to the magnificent swimming pool. There is also a large new restaurant and a small shopping centre which includes a bakery and convenience store. The resort is situated right on the ocean beach and is the jumping off point for many of the islands tours. Four wheel drivers will find Eurong to be an excellent central point from which to explore many of Fraser Island’s magnificent beauty spots.
As you travel north along the beach from Eurong you will first come to Happy Valley. Here you will find both Sailfish on Fraser and Fraser Island Backpackers. Sailfish consists of 10 modern two bedroom apartments with all modern facilities. There is a swimming pool as well as undercover parking. Fraser Island Wilderness retreat is nearby and this property features self contained cabins of excellent standard together with a swimming pool, restaurant and convenience store.
