LARC! Paradise Tour
This day tour is an amphibious adventure, travelling along the coastline of Eurimbula National Park while experiencing an informative commentary on abundant wildlife and the history of Bustard Bay – crossing four tidal creeks, before four-wheel driving up the steep climb to the historic Bustard Head Lightstation.

As the sun approaches the horizon signalling the end of another beautiful day, experience the peaceful solitude and changing moods of this tropical paradise.
This one-hour cruise takes in the magic of Round Hill Creek and Eurimbula National Park with its wildlife and magnificent views of Round Hill Head and the coastline.
It is the perfect way to experience the delights of 1770 and the thrill of these unique amphibious vessels.

DRIVING TO 1770
From the South – Travelling on the Bruce Highway from Brisbane, take the turn off to the left to Bundaberg just after Apple Tree Creek.
Drive through Bundaberg and take the turn to the left at the Visitors Information Centre, and then follow the signs to the Town of 1770 and Agnes Water, approximately 120 km from Bundaberg.
From the North – Travelling on the Bruce Highway, turn left at Miriam Vale (just south of Gladstone) and then follow the signs to the Town of 1770 and Agnes Water.

Gladstone – 1.5 hrs | Bundaberg – 1.5 hrs | Rockhampton – 2.5 hrs |
Hervey Bay – 3 hrs | Brisbane – 6 hrs | Airlie Beach – 8 hrs |
Flights operate daily from all Australian capital cities to Gladstone, Bundaberg, Rockhampton & Hervey Bay. Car hire is available at these airports.
RAIL & BUS
Take the Tilt Train to Miriam Vale & connect with a transfer to the Town of 1770/Agnes Water.
Greyhound Australia also offers bus service into the Town of 1770/Agnes Water.
