Beach House Restaurant
The Beach House sits at the edge of Hamilton Island’s Catseye Beach, boasting stunning views of the Coral Sea and Whitsunday Island.
The Beach House is Hamilton Island’s culinary showpiece and has all the character reminiscent of a traditional island beach house. Dining at the Beach House you have a feeling of being spoilt, the service is second to none, the cuisine is the finest. It is a truly memorable experience, making this the perfect location for your dream wedding reception.
The cuisine encompasses contemporary Australian flavours, fully utilising the freshest produce from the surrounding region. The wine list offers a selection of the finest wines from the best wineries to be found in Australia.
If you are a lover of great food, enjoy fine wine and don’t mind being spoilt, then the Beach House is for you.
The Beach House can cater for a romantic dinner for two, or a sole use function for up to 120 and is open for lunch and dinner functions.
Denison Star Motor Yacht
History of Denison Star
Originally launched in 1969 and totally refurbished in May 2002, the Denison Star is a beautiful 107-foot timber motor cruiser made from Huon Pine. The fully air-conditioned vessel operates regular Sunset Dinner Cruises for Hamilton Island houseguests, and is also available for private charters, specialised conference and incentive events and other special functions.
Denison Star offers the perfect venue for a truly unique experience, with options including seated dining in its stylish fully air-conditioned Dining Room on the Lower Deck, or cocktail style functions under the stars on the Upper Deck.
With an impressive commercial galley and fully stocked bar, the Denison Star has a team of professional, friendly crew and service staff to make your special day unforgettable.
Mariners “Seafood & Stuff”
As the name suggests, Mariners Seafood and Stuff specialises in fresh seafood of the highest quality, however they don’t forget the non-seafood guests attending your wedding, with a large range of other dishes on offer.
Mariners is situated on on the Marina side of Hamilton Island, with views across Hamilton Island harbour to the West, perfect for viewing the famous Whitsunday sunset. The restaurant caters for groups of up to 100 in comfort with the ability for a large range of layout and table plan options to be achieved.
Romanos Restaurant
Romanos is a beautifully positioned restaurant on Front Street overlooking the foreshore of Hamilton Island Marina. With its polished timber floors, high ceiling, split-level dining, a relaxed bar and vast deck space, the restaurant can cater for weddings of all sizes from an intimate dinner for two to a cocktail party for 300.
Toucan Tango Cafe & Bar
Toucan Tango Cafe & Bar is located in the main resort centre, offering both beachfront and poolside access and spectacular sea views across Catseye Beach. Toucan Tango provides you with a restaurant and bar that truly captures the tropical environment in which we are situated. The decor is unique, using wild splashes of citrus colours to provide a vibrant tropical feel, which sets the tone for a fun and beachy feel on your wedding day.
Please Note: Toucan Tango Cafe and Bar is Hamilton Island’s family venue, it has a relaxed and casual atmosphere which, however depending on which area you select is sometimes found to be inappropriate for wedding receptions. In addition, some areas of Toucan Tango are regularly utilised for live entertainment and themed activity nights e.g trivia night and casino capers, which can interupt the privacy of a wedding reception. Many couples however have successfully held their reception in Toucan Tango by using this casual atmosphere to their advantage. Please discuss with your Hamilton Island Weddings consultant which area of Toucan Tango will best suit your needs.
Catseye Beach
A reception venue complete with sand between the toes… locations for your reception don’t get any more unique than Catseye Beach.

Reception by the Pool
The Main Pool location is set alongside the main resort pool, opposite Toucan Tango restaurant. It provides a lovely tropical atmosphere along with all the amenities of a restaurant reception. The stunning surrounds of the pool and palm trees creates the base for a world of opportunities for decoration.
