Burleigh Heads attractions are the reason that this is one of the Gold Coasts most popular tourist regions. The most important of these attractions is the surfing beach which stretches north from the headland itself. This is one of the icons of the surfing scene and the break on the headland itself is always filled with surfers riding the waves. Broadbeach also has a great shopping and dining scene. There is a shopping center located right at the beach and another, plaza style center a little further inland. between the two you will find everything you need, as well as great cafes, take away food outlets and a la carte restaurants. Many tours operate from Broadbeach. You can visit the Gold Coast hinterland, take an early morning hot air balloon ride or join one of the fantastic fishing charters or whale watching tours that operate from the Gold Coast.
