From a backpacker dorm, right through to the six-star Palazzo Versace and everything in between, you will be able to find accommodation that will exactly fit your requirements, both for price and location. Mostly, the accommodation on the Gold Coast is on the beachfront or very close to it. The Gold Coast beaches spread out from Tweed Heads and Kingscliff in the south right through to the Gold Coast seaway which is the entrance from the ocean into the Southport Broadwater.

A Gold Coast holiday is one of Australia’s most popular holiday destinations and your choice of accommodation will go a long way to ensuring the success of your holiday. The teenagers will want to be close to the beach and this choice should be easy no matter where you want to stay on the coast. The surfers will probably have a special break that they want to try so look for something within easy walking distance. The selection in both is similar to Broadbeach, and the beaches are sensational. Getting to the Gold Coast is the easy part with airports at Coolangatta and Brisbane providing easy access. Shuttle services are available from both to take you to your chosen accommodation. If the family is coming with you there is plenty for them to do to entertain themselves. Day tours to the Hinterland, the theme parks, or aboard a charter boat to go fishing or whale watching are all readily available.
