By combining their WHALE SEARCH with the HERVEY BAY DOLPHIN WATCH they not only give their guests the possibility to be one of the first to see the mighty Humpback Whales, as they purposely enter the Hervey Bay Marine Park for some ‘R & R’, before continuing on their return journey to their summer feeding grounds in Antarctica. But they also give them a longer cruise than their usual Half Day Whale Watch, and thus more time with the Whales and Dolphins.
The diversity of wildlife is changing constantly but they can honestly state that the following is seen regularly on their Dolphin Watch Cruise: -Up to four varieties of dolphins, sting rays, turtles, fish, bird life, and occasionally the endangered Dugong (sea cow), and in the Year 2000 they saw five other whale species.
All this with the beautiful backdrop of Heritage Listed Fraser Island.
Due to the unpredictability of Nature, they can NOT Guarantee that the Humpback Whale will be sighted, but they will endeavor to do their best to find them. However, they DO GUARANTEE to show you Dolphins. After seeing whales for a couple of days during their Whale Search Cruises they are likely to start Guaranteeing that you will see whales.
