Hamilton Island Resort Australia, is located in the Whitsundays and is the largest island resort. Less than a 3rd of the island has been used for Hamilton Island Resort, the rest has been kept in its natural state so that people can enjoy and explore this un-spoilt island with it's fantastic beaches, adventurous nature trails and private escapes. Hamilton Island has its own airport, so getting there is very easy as most major cities have scheduled flights. Alternatively it's only a 30 minute ferry trip from the mainland, departing from Airlie Beach. Hamilton Island accommodation comes in both hotel and self contained configurations. Hotel style accommodation includes the Palm Terrace, Palm Bungalows, Reef View hotel and Beach Club hotel depending on the required standard.
